Volunteering Code Consultation begins!
VOLUNTEERING CODE OF GOOD PRACTICE FOR HEREFORDSHIRE
Herefordshire Partnership Local Compact Working Group to invite you to take part in a consultation to agree a Volunteering Code of Good Practice for the County.
The Herefordshire Compact is a mutual agreement between local public sector bodies and the voluntary and community sector in Herefordshire to support and improve partnership working between the sectors.
The Herefordshire Compact also sets out our commitments to action which will be addressed through the accompanying codes of practice, of which the volunteering code is one.
A copy of the draft volunteering code of good practice is attached for your comments along with a consultation response form. The consultation period runs from Thursday 31st July 2008 until Friday 24th October 2008.
