Many changes are taking place in the range of opportunities available for people with learning disabilities in Herefordshire.
Widemarsh workshops are being redesigned to become a Family Centre. New opportunities have been developed through the C.S.V. in Whitecross, Hereford and at 'Pack-it', a social firm that originates from Cardiff, which has recently opened a business in Foley Lane Trading Estate.

The Valuing People Parnership is also moving forward. Peoples Advocacy has agreed to start work on the 'Staying Safe' strand of the strategy.

An evaluation, which looked at the effectiveness of Learning Disabilities Partership Boards has recently been completed. The report has been written in two formats to make it accessible to a wide range of people.
