The Alliance
The Alliance is an innovative support organisation for third sector health and social care providers in Herefordshire. Its role is to provide structured sector input into the strategic planning and joint commissioning of services; to introduce standards for third sector providers which can be reliably used by commissioning bodies; and to implement the Compact in partnership with funders.
The Alliance has representatives at the following key strategic meetings:
• Children and Young Persons Trust Board
• Health and Social Care Partnership
• Vulnerable Adults Protection Committee
• Safeguarding Children’s Board
• Joint Commissioning Group
• Programme Boards – Older People, Mental health, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities
