Liberating Leadership Training
Community Sector Coalition is a partner in the NSS Leadership and Governance workstream, led by NCVO and funded by Capacitybuilders.Liberating Leadership is a practical approach to recognise and support leadership in community groups and collective community activities. I attach a short pdf booklet that explains more about why we developed a new approach and a short introduction to the model.
The new model is the basis for a two day training programme for development workers from infrastructure organisations/support providers. It introduces them to the four elements of the model and also to range of practical tools that they can use to work with groups.
We have a training programme planned for 8 – 9 February at Fircroft College in Birmingham. It has already been advertised nationally as part of a series of training courses and we have had several bookings from West Midlands organisations. As a result, we have decided to concentrate on promoting this training course in the West Midlands as a regional event. Please see attached e-flyer.
