The Alliance Newsletter for January 2009 is a must read for every organisation with an interest in health or social care, children or older people, which covers most of us.
This issue has information about the planned transition to personalised budgets and how this will be managed by Herefordshire Council. The Alliance will be producing a briefing paper and arranging training around some key themes later in the year.
There is also information about the Common Assessment Framework for Children and Young People. The aim is to identify, at the earliest opportunity, a child or young person’s additional needs which are not being met by the universal services they are receiving, and provide timely and co-ordinated support to meet those needs.
