Kevin Curley of NAVCA to speak at Voluntary Sector Assembly

Herefordshire VSA is delighted to announce that

Kevin Curley, Chief Executive of NAVCA, National Association of Voluntary and Community Action will be the keynote speaker at the rescheduled Assembly. 

Kevin will be discussing:

"Engaging with the Local Area Agreement - an opportunity or threat for the local third sector?"

Chris Bull, Chief Executive of Herefordshire Council and Primary Care Trust will open the afternoon session, with Cllr Roger Phillips leader of Herefordshire Council.

There will also be an opportunity to join in the debate about how the sector is represented on the restructured Herefordshire Partnership Board; to have your say on the Herefordshire 'Working Together' Compact Code, as well as the latest on the Area Based Grant and to network and meet your VSA Reps.

Come along on Wednesday, 28 January 2009 between 9.30 am (for 10 am start) - 3:15 pm at the Kindle Centre, Hereford.  Book early to avoid disappointment
